- Great and trustworthy Contract Company! Pros:Since day one, I've worked with a fantastic recruiter, Patrick. He's helped me through my CF and first couple of years as an SLP. He's gotten me placements and opporutinites I've wanted. EdTheory also has a great HR and team overall. I've been to a couple of events, and everyone is so friendly and fun. I like that they are local to the bay area. They even have a relations manager that calls every once in a while to ensure everything is going okay. Thanks, EdTheory for all that you do! Cons:I do wish there were more free or group continuing education opportunities. They do give a stipend though that you can use towards your own PD.Speech Language Pathologist in San Ramon, CA 12/28/2022

They do take a while to get back to your emails right away, but they try. Overall, I enjoy being a contracted RSP/ Ed.Specialist with EdTheory. Pros friendly people and culture. Cons slow response timeEducation Specialist 12/11/2022
- Great Experience Pros:Accommodating Supportive Consistent Trustworthy Open to communication Cons:The team used to have a tighter family feel but since COVID, people moved to working remotely and at different sites so there has been less of that feel and less company social events. I would say the situation is sadly true for many other work environments.Speech Language Pathologist in Los Angeles, CA 11/30/2022
- Great Experience EdTheory is an experienced contracting agency specializing in special education in the school setting. I have worked the majority of my career with the EdTheory team and have very positive things to say for them. They are considerate and understanding to a personal level but stay professional and highly reliable. This is a diversed team that understands and respects cultural differences and needs. Comparable compensations and they provided additional support to the employees during COVID. Pros Accommodating, supportive, comparative benefits, reliable, consistent, open to communication Cons Less social and company events after COVIDSpeech Language Pathologist 11/30/2022
- Ed Theory Pros:I’ve been working with the company for three years now and I have nothing but great things to say about Ed Theory. I appreciate the occasional check-ins by the company to make sure I am OK. Ed Theory has shown me that they care about my mental health as well as my work production. The company is very accommodating and makes sure I have everything I need to be successful at my job. I also look forward to the Ed Theory gatherings that we have each year. We have an awesome team. Cons:I do not have any cons about the company so far.School Psychologist 11/23/2022
- Happy School Psychologist Pros:>great, competitive pay >great benefits >amazing leadership and supports >full trust and transparency seems to be part of their work culture > amazing communication > frequent check ins > quick replies to emails, texts or calls Cons:> my only concerns with EdTheory are 1.the retirement for their contracted employees are offered after 2nd year of employment 2. mental health days are not offered, days off are solely earned, whereas districts tend to offer 10 days per school year. This makes working with a district more appealing. Advice to Management:The teamwork that EdTheory puts forth is working very well. My advice for EdTheory moving forward is to consider offering retirement earlier and possibly work in offering even a few days off a school year.School Psychologist in Fullerton, CA 11/22/2022

- Flexible schedule, no benefits, low pay Great job for a new grad and if you're interested in working in a school environment. Flexible job to have while currently in school for advancement opportunities. Unfortunately, there is no growth staying here with limited experience to gain. Huge turn over in recruiters.Liscensed Practical Nurse 11/16/2022
- Flexible schedule, great pay, great for new grads Pros:This agency is very accommodating with your schedule and flexible. Perfect for new grads, great starting pay, and able to continue education while working with EdTheory. Cons:No benefits or insurance for part time employees, commute during breaks, sometimes lack communicationLVN 9/03/2022
- Flexible and very accommodating schedule, work/school balance I am a new grad and I've been with EdTheory for almost half a year now and it's been great. I've been able to manage balancing school, work, and life working with them. I don't receive benefits/insurance because I work part time which is one of my cons to working here, but I do get a higher rate per hour because I don't get benefits which is fair and a pro to working here. If you work full time you can receive benefits and insurance but with a lower rate per hour. The management is very kind, communicative, and helpful. My breaks are short and I need to commute to other sites during my break so it's not really considered a lunch break in my opinion. Overall, I enjoy working here and working with the kids. Pros flexible schedule, work/school balance Cons short breaks, no benefits for part timersLicensed Vocational Nurse 8/29/2022
- Good People to Work With Pros:The people I dealt with within the company were fabulous. In the beginning of an assignment they make sure you are supported. Cons:Like any contract company, they can't insure that your assignment will continue into the next year.Remote Speech Pathologist in San Jose, CA 8/06/2022
- Not just a number! Smaller company that actually cares about you and goes above and beyond to help with issues. Best company that I’ve done contract work for! Always get help in a timely manner. Good compensation compared with other remote positions. Will continue to work with EdTheory and no one else. Pros helpful, compensation Cons noneSLP 6/27/2022
- Plentiful Opportunities I think that there is a lot to be said but also not enough. Communication is good but could be a little more straightforward and clear instead of hurrying through phone calls when an employee has questions. The pay range is fair, medical benefits could be slightly better, and the HR is quick in replying to emails. Pros Quick HR answers Cons Unclear information or quick phone check insBCBA 6/24/2022
